German Club
The primary goal of German Club is to provide students with a resource outside of the classroom for furthering their interest in the cultures of German-speaking countries. We are an active club with a strong membership; in the 2016-17 school year German Club had over 65 members. We have an event/meeting, on average, once a month. Some of German Club's most popular events include:
- Fall Picnic
- Oktoberfest celebration at House of Gerhard German restaurant in Kenosha, WI
- Global Fest
- Milwaukee Folk Fair
- Cooking Party
- Service projects like packing food at Feed My Starving Children, and donating to Open Arms
- Karneval
- German Club vs. Spanish Club soccer game
- After-school movie showings
Each year we look for new events for our members to take part in! Being a member of German Club will give you the opportunity to broaden your experience with the German culture beyond what can be offered in the classroom.
