Antioch Hall of Fame Induction 
Antioch Community High School will induct four members to its school athletic hall of fame on
Friday, February, 7th before its boys’ basketball game against North Chicago at 7:00 pm. There
will be a meet and greet for the inductees in the school’s commons at 5:30 pm. ACHS newest
inductees will include:

Craig Prather: Craig was a 1984 graduate who was an all-conference baseball and football player
for the Sequoits. He went on to play baseball for Iowa State for four years.

Mike Shea: Mike was a 1994 graduate who achieved all-county recognition in football, wrestling,
and track. Mike went on to be a four-year letterman in football at Eastern Illinois.

Mike Warren: Mike was a 1991 graduate who started in football and basketball for the Sequoits.
He was selected to the NWSC All-Conference team in basketball his senior year. He went on to
start three years at defensive end for Northwestern, playing in the 1996 Rose Bowl.

Dave Zitkus: Dave was a two year all-conference baseball player who graduated in 1977. He went
on to be selected All American at the College of Lake County before playing for Alabama for two
years. He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 29th round of the MLB draft.

Additionally, Antioch hall of famer Allie Anttila, who was an all-conference basketball and all-state
softball athlete for the Sequoits, before being named All Big East in softball at Georgetown, will
be inducted into the Lake County High School Hall of Fame before the schools’ hall of fame
induction.
